DESCRIPTION


Afterwars takes place about 6 months after a large nuclear, biological, conventional war with the soviets. The Russians manage to invade the united states and there is a lot of fighting within the country. Character classes come from 3 main groups, Mainstream, Military, and Fringe. A lot of technology is readily available. The combat system was not the best, especially when it came down to gunfire. One really cool thing they did have was a concept called U-joints. Basically where you explode nuclear weapons close together and the shock waves meet the separate reality, creating gateways to this world. The game did have good encounter tables and well thought out monsters with a tech level and aggression level gauge.
